EAA / WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility audit for e-commerce
We check whether your store complies with the European Accessibility Act and fix what doesn't. Audit, remediation, monitoring.
What changed
The European Accessibility Act (EU Directive 2019/882) applies as of 28 June 2025 and covers e-commerce services selling to consumers (B2C). The practical technical benchmark is WCAG 2.1 AA via the EN 301 549 standard. Microenterprises providing services (under 10 people and up to EUR 2M turnover) are exempt.
Packages
- Audit — EUR 990: Automated scan (axe-core) plus a manual expert review, prioritized report, result in 48h.
- Remediation — from EUR 2900: We fix contrast, alt text, keyboard navigation, forms and heading structure in the code.
- Monitoring — EUR 149/mo: Ongoing monitoring, accessibility statement upkeep, alert on regression.
Why us
- Our own site scores 100/100 in this audit.
- An automated scan catches ~30-40% of WCAG criteria; the rest is checked by a human.
- Overlays are not a solution — we fix the source, not a bolted-on widget.
FAQ
- Does the EAA apply to me?
- If you sell online to consumers and you're not a microenterprise, most likely yes. We confirm it in a free mini-audit.
- We already have an accessibility widget — enough?
- No. Overlays don't fix the code and don't deliver compliance.
- Do you guarantee compliance?
- We deliver a technical audit and fix against WCAG 2.1 AA. The final legal assessment belongs to a qualified lawyer.
